Woodland Sanctuary is a work in progress. A former game preserve, it is being
restored to a natural balance for the benefit of people, plants, and animals.
Our hope is that while rejuvenating the land, we create an environment for
regenerating the spirit.
Situated on 365 acres in southern Oscoda County, Woodland Sanctuary features a
varied landscape ranging from wooded hills and open fields, to swamp and marsh.
The woodland trails provide access for exploring while surrounded by natures
wonders. There are numerous species of wildflowers, plants, trees, songbirds
and waterfowl to enjoy. Our desire is to develop a tranquil setting for
retreats, seminars, weddings and social events.
